We Are Jennings Farm

Alexandria Jones

Owner

Raised in the quiet strength of Powhatan, Virginia, and now thriving in Amelia alongside her husband and three sons, Alexandria Jones is a woman whose life is a testament to perseverance, vision, and deep familial love. As co-owner and operator of Jennings Farm LLC and Jennings Farm Market, Alexandria blends entrepreneurship with sustainable living, ethical meat production, and community engagement—turning everyday labor into a legacy of nourishment and integrity.

Her academic journey reflects the same tenacity she brings to her farm and family. After earning her Associate of Science degree from Southside Virginia Community College, she is set to begin her Bachelor of Science in Anthropology and Archaeology at Longwood University in Spring 2026. Her passion for historical research—especially Civil War-era stories of resilience—fuels her curiosity about human cultures and the enduring spirit of survival.

Alexandria’s life is not without its challenges. Balancing motherhood, business, and academic pursuits has tested her emotional reserves, yet she remains open-hearted and committed to rediscovering joy and meaning. Her recent achievement—publishing a book, a dream nurtured since childhood—is a powerful reminder of what’s possible with unwavering support and inner grit.

Whether she’s tending to her farm, guiding her children, or diving into the depths of historical inquiry, Alexandria lives with intention. Her story is one of growth, rooted in love, and reaching toward a future shaped by knowledge, creativity, and community.
